Citizenship Awards Ceremony (Grades K, 3, 4)

Stillmeadow’s Citizenship awards are an opportunity to acknowledge our students for upholding the responsibilities outlined in our  Stillmeadow Bill of Rights .

Students participate in lessons defining the expectations for each responsibility, what it looks like in the behaviors we practice, and in characters we make connections with through children’s literature during the read aloud time of our literacy block. Sometimes we learn about character traits to model through our social studies content as well.

Assemblies are held monthly to keep the focus alive and to provide multiple opportunities for many of our students to receive this award.

You will receive notice from your child’s teacher if he/she is receiving an award this month. Parents are encouraged to attend!
